Rhinebeck sheep and wool festival
M and I went to Rhinebeck to the NYS sheep and wool family festival. It was so inspiring looking at all the vendors along with thousands of other visitors. I made lots of videos. I was so inspired. I bought packages of cards to write on for Mom. I bought a cone of thick yarn for my loom. It weighed 11.5# and cost $56! What a steal! I also bought a little lambchop blankie doll for Lida's baby.
We were there from 11 till 5.
I used my wlking ski sticks to get around all day. It made a wonderful difference on my back! I was so fascinated by so many things I'd seen at the various vendor booths! There was the inventor of the electric spinning wheel, all sorts of demonstrations I filmed.
As we left, a woman stopped me. "Are you Nancy?" She and her children watch me all the time! So much fun to meet her! "I love your new kitchen... Willem is so easy going" Amazing to be known and loved! I had some soap along and gave it to her.
