Mini mailbox folk art
You'll never believe where I got this idea! I was in the temple! LOL Of all the places for silly ideas to show up. Well, anyway, I have this little mailbox I got from the dump. It's blue with a white goose on one side and a lovely plastic red flag on the other.
I have a small shelf beneath my mailbox on the post. No idea why it's there, but I nailed it on. So today he plan was to put this tiny mailbox on that little shelf halfway down below our mailbox. I used the drill press to put holes in the bottom front of the mailbox, then drove down to the mailboxes and screwed it onto the shelf. Such a cool idea!
I took a picture of it and made some videos of the process. What a sweet little sight it is! Folk art at its finest!
