Atlanta airport

I was quite confused in the airport as I used the kiosk and tagged my bags. I’d written on them with magic marker, Nancy Today, to help in finding them when I was in the baggage claim. It will be good to have that on them to help in publicizing it, as well. Ads work wonders.
I checked my bag, but they charge $25 for the bag, even under the 50lb limit. It was 47lbs. Way too heavy to carry, but I have my comforter, sheets, warping thread, towels, and hair clippers in it. I don’t know if I have anything else in there.
In my carryon bag I have my swivl, the head for my gorilla tripod, my Panasonic camera that I need to send to get fixed, my handycam camera, the underwater camera and the gopro camera. I’ve got my Dutch flashcards, my iPod, wallet, cords, gps, laptop, clothes, Sudoku, pens, earplugs for the airplane, my laptop, my tatting.
I have a set of luggage that has four double wheels, but I hope they don’t break off when it hits the ground first…which they probably will.
I hope one suitcase will be empty when I come back, or perhaps I will only bring my carry on since checking luggage costs now.
I had a good talk with Chas while I waited for the boarding call in the gate. It was easy to find it, not a long walk either. Security was pretty simple, too, but I was still quite confused and felt so rushed, even though nobody was rushing me. I had only to wait for one or two people to get to security.
I was a bit concerned about the weather, snow mostly, in Chicago. It’s only rain and wind though, they said. I see we are above the clouds where it’s nice and blue today. So nice to be in a plane again.
I’m sitting by a guy who just graduated from GA Tech and is going home to Nigeria, to Kano to his family, to work in the oil fields with a chemical engineering degree. His dad was the governor and is now a senator. That’s why he gets to have a good education.
I told him about the church’s perpetual education fund.
I have been going over my Dutch flash cards. I had forgotten a lot of my Dutch, so this will help me out. I will try to talk to Willem in Dutch while I’m home.
