Skyping with Willem
My dear little Alida Jane played her guitar and sang at a pub tonight. Willem went and filmed her, then showed them to me tonight on skype! They were wonderful! She’s got such an awesome voice. I couldn’t hear it too well on my skype, but he’s sending me the files as attachments on email. Can’t wait to hear them! I’m so glad she’s singing in public! It’s so awesome! I’m so proud of her. Ik ben heel veel toots op zijn
The storm has subsided mostly around here now. It’s not windy anymore. It rained all day though. The fields around here had great puddles in them. Shirley said that the oil wells around here are mostly not pumping anymore cos they pump only a barrel a day or so. Interesting that there is so much oil underground around here!
I went to the Morton Salt factory today. There are wells that tap into the salt vein underground. The salt water is pumped up, then evaporated off to make table salt. Interesting! I filmed it. There was no mine here. There is a mine in Painesville which is rock salt.
