New kitchen windows, sinks and tas with Maryjane
Maryjane and I went to town and to Rona where we bought a replacement window for the one in the kitchen and a new one to go up over the stove in its new location. We bought a sink and a half which came with a cutting board. How nice! We also bought a set of taps, one for soap, one for spraying and one for the water. I like it.
I bought another metal track for hanging the cupboards from. We also bought the screws we'd need for the window and the shims and the caulking for the sink. I also want the counter to be higher, so we bought some 2x4x10's to put under the counter on top of the cupboards to bring it up to a better height for me. Bending over slightly to wash dishes makes my back hurt.
We had hotdogs from a vendor at Home Depot. Very expensive, but tasty. Delicart is the company in London, Ont that makes them.
Maryjane bought hardwood flooring on sale to do her entire downstairs. She's so pleased with the price, which was about a third of the regular price for the colour she's always wanted.
We were quite tired by the time we got home at 3:30pm. We'd spent since 11 doing all of that.
