I think it must be quite difficult for the girls at school. In most cases, the 38 girls from the Kingson district and the 52 from the Barrie Stake attend school as the only mormon girls. It must be so wonderful for them to be with others who also live the same standards.
I didn't see any animosity here, or cliques or not being nice to each other. The girls are all qiute cooperative and follow the rules. It's nice to hear them singing their songs about Mormon boys and other mormon stuff. The standards within the church are so different than those outside of the church, or the world in general. Faithful members of other churches have high standards, too. There just aren't too many of those sorts of teens around. They are all in the minority. It's a difficult thing to keep up their standards when their school friends are having lots of fun with other activities.
I haven't done the personal devotional I'm supposed to have done every day. That's probably why I'm not as happy happy as I could be! Some girls are very happy all the time. I like being around them.
Lots of girls are getting their hair braided in french braids. They look great.
I'm sitting in my car writing in my journal. I suppose I should be getting changed before testimony meeting. I guess I could do that. But it will only get all damp.
tomorrow is the last day of camp. We pack up and leave in the morning after breakfast! Yippee. I like being here with these people, but I'll certainly like going home, too.
