Building a privacy blind at the pond
We have been working on making a blind at the corner of the pond so Willem can walk into the pond in private.
We pulled three curved large cedar branches down Sunrise Hillside to the pond. Jen and I discussed where it should be.
We planted three posts where he arched branches end. The blind is angled slightly to provide maximum privacy.
We went over to Mera, cut a few tall willow shoots and brought the the composted willow shoos over to the pond.
We pushed the living ones into the ground, put the two large bundles of other ones in the pond and wove the bottom along the ground. We decided at some point that we needed the blind to extend farther into the pond, so we moved some of the living stakes over.
We were both in the water working on the end, but then Jens' back got to her, so I sat in the water and worked on the end while she worked behind me up the hill.
It's looking so good!
