To the pond with everyone!
Tyler and I went down to the pond with his big plastic frog. We threw rocks down to the lower landing from the moonscape. It had rained, so I walked along and stomped on all the dirt clods to break them up.
The level of the water has dropped a few inches in the pond. Willem arrived while we were down there. He said the temperature of the water was warm, in spite of how cold the temperature has been. High of 16C today, I think.
Willem helped build up the rock wall we were making between the shallow and the deep. Tyler put the frogs in spots all along the pond. The thyme Willem and I planted didn't look like it lived. I'll have to replant it! it's nice to see the willow bits have littt leaves on them!
Jen came down with Tanner. It so much easier for each of us to come down with one child! Lo and behold, we arrive and all is well and not a big production! LOL.
There was a leopard frog on the bank of the pond. Did I mention the water level dropped?
