The guy from the digging compay came by again. He said that he could send over a high hoe when it was in the area already so I'd not have to pay the float charge. Then I wasn't sure if I could wait that long, so he said I could go back on the schedule list and he'd only charge me half for the float. Okay, that sounds good to me.
I want him to dig the depth of the pond out again. It's going to be too full of weeds cos the side slopes so much.
I'd like him to take the side off the pond, as the water will never fill up to that level. But now as I've been swimming, I'm thinking we could just have a load of gravel dumped in the laneway so we could get in and out of it easily.
I don't want the tadpoles killed from doing lots of work in the water! it would be so easy to scoop them out with each bucketful.
maybe i'll go back on the 'when they're in the area' list, instead. Then they won't come this way for awhile and they won't charge me any float fee.
I need a tractor with some harrows to smooth the soil on the sides. Tht's all I need for that. I think it would be prudent to pay for what i've had done already and then let him come back in and do some more.
I hear thunder.
