I got up around 8, checked on my videos and went down to the river to check the two pine trees I planted in Feb. They are looking good. the lower pine needles did turn brown on the larger one but on the smaller one, everythhing looks just right.
They are planted in sandy soil, or the sandy river bank.
I came up the old pathway and down Dad's. I like my pathway better. The deer use it so it's always open.
I filled the bird feeders and watered Charles' gardenia which had some brown on the leaves. I filled the bird bath and later a bluebird was eating from it.
Mom and I sat in the kitchen while she had her coffee and while I prepared a video to upload. I also worked on my socks. They are looking quite nice! I like them, eventhough they are orange!
We had our eggs with onions, red and yellow peppers and coconut oil, after Mom watched some videos about how it reverses alzheimers. We sat on the front porch to eat it. Afterwards, I worked on a new pine needle basket. Some of the needles are several inches longer than a foot! Perhaps 18".
I washed Mom's hair, then we sat on the porch again while she dried her hair in the sunshine. I worked on my pine needle basket again.
Then we came in. She lay on the couch with her legs up and I knitted on my socks.
I went outside and blew the leaves and pollen off the walkway and driveway. Then Mom came out and took photos of me while I cut off the branches from the Crepe Myrtle. I filmed it.
Then we went up to the swing by the mailbox and sat for awhile, while Mom read the newspaper and I worked on my pine needle basket again. It's very addicting.
I was able to film a bluebird poking his head out of the birdhouse hole. Then I got a shot of the chickadees on the other house, one by the hole, the other on the side.
We came inside and I cooked up some chicken in coconut oil and thadded a can of pea and a can of carrots and mrs dash. It was wonderful. We're trying to eat 3T of coconut oil daily.
