A very backbreaking day
Went to the dump at 9 with a load of trash. Went back with another load.
Put Alida’s desk in the car and went to town.
She was just leaving her apt. She told me I needed a couple hours to just chill.
So I got someone on the street to help me unload the desk chest up into her office.
I went over and sat and had hot chocolate and soup while she wrote up the Specials sign.
I made a grocery list of what she liked.
I went to Giant tiger and shopped for her.
I went to her apt and took all the bins of grocery bags up to her apt and put the frozen and refrideratable into her fridge.
I went back and sat with her again and had another hot chocolate.
I went back to Giant tiger for us, then went to the grocery store and found other stuff I had on my list for her and got that and took it to her apartment.
By that time my back was killing me and I| really needed to just collapse. So I hung out there and visited with her while she was working. They closed early so she was just chilling with the regulars. She has a very interesting boss from the Motherland.
I came back home and had no laptop cos it was in their car and they’d all gone in to Ottawa for coats.
I couldn’t imagine Daniel liking going back and forth like that!
We wrapped presents and put up the Christmas tree, cleaned the table off.
