Made a flyer for the CPW spinning wheel

I thougth I might be able to figure out how to do it. Sure enough, i was. I got a board, drew on it the shape of the flyer I needed to make, cut it out on the scroll saw, measured it again, eased it into better shape with the sander, measured it, drilled for the pin.

It cracked open when I made the hole wide enough to accomodate the pin. I think I can glue it together and add another piece to hold each side. wood glue is great.

CPW is Canadian Production Wheel, it's an old fashioned spinning wheel.
