I can't believe it's been an hour since I lay in the hammock and wrote. I've been working on the basket again, trying to do a one - one pattern, but the weavers left a cm between the rows. So Instead , I put in a row of dyed three three. I have given up using the raffia. It's not even raffia. it's some sort of dyed plastic.

Selene is reading her Homeopathic course text book. We are lying in our hammocks again. I guess the people next door are leaving today.

I hear a loon pair calling. There are two parent loons and two baby loons.

I'm glad I brought along my basket supplies. I think I'd like to make a coiled basket, using porcupine quill needle and the pink raffia. It might be quite nice. I will use the bulrush as the coil.

We are camping right alongside the lake. It's nice not to have to do anything, or visit with anyone. I needed this time to regroup.

There have been many things happening in my life lately. With the change of the seasons, the cool nights and the wqrm days, I have been feeling distraught, disconnected to myself, somehow. I haven't been praying as much as I should.
