Overwhelming gratitude

I am so grateful for all my projects at home. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to create a low cost woodworking shop in the sunroom. It is a wonderful opportunity for Abraham to do something other than be on the computer.

It’s also wonderful to me that I can learn how to make things. I need to learn a lot more before I can really do a lot in there.

I am so grateful for my two looms. I love weaving. I love the proces of winding a warp, putting it on the loom and then weaving it. It’s so much more exciting now that I have this bok and can learn all these patterns and get acquainted with what is actually possible on a loom. It’s not all tabby or twill!

This new warp I am putting on, rose path, will be another interesting adventure! That’s going on the Leclerc. Meanwhile on Grandma’s loom, I’ll put on a warp for some other pattern. I’ll have to study the book to see what I want to do next. I do like just going through the book and doing the next threading in the book.

I will run out of cotton thread at some point however.

gratitude, weaving, tools, projects
