Dueling cameras over the waterfall
I headed across from rope swing hillside, across the great W, the lay of the land which rises and falls almost every step of the way.
My traction strap fell off my boot at one point and I had to go back for it. I had to hold onto trees the whole way along it was so steep!
I filmed with my gopro on my head, then used the panasonic 70X zoomy camera at the waterfall. I loved to sit there by the waterfall and look at all the ice formations on the water, beside it and above it.
We found the great polar ice cap. It wasn't that big, though. I stepped on it to cross the waterfall, I think.
