Church was good
Lindsay branch was very nice. I met some people that knew virginia when she lived there.
I went with Maryjane to primary where she's a counselor in the presidency. I lucked out, as they were having ice cream sundaes for reward after the primary presentation.
I loved watching the history of the church cartoon that they had on. It was so nice to see the plainness of the gospel laid out for the children. It's such a simple gospel.
I went to Relief Society. There are some very nice, humble sisters in the branch. I liked the game they played in Relief Society. It was for singing time. There were two teams. She'd hum a hymn and the first group to get it won.
I think it was cheating that I memorized all the hymns in the book 35 years ago! LOL.
The RS lesson was on the gifts of the spirit. Everyone got one to look up in the manual and then to look up scriptures about. I forget which one I had. Oh, to believe because of someone else's testimony, I think. It was interesting what scriptures backed that one up. I forget what they were now, however.
After church was a potluck. MJ had brought a loaf of tuna sandwiches which she made this morning.
We sat with MJ and Michael, Jordan and his girlfriend and her parents. it was so nice to have someone to sit with!
