Abey had to bring his trumpet as well as his cello to school today, so he came in, woke me up and asked for a drive. Sigh. I said I'd drive him if he moved a wheelbarrow of wood for me. Later he said. Didn't happen.
He didn't have any breakfast as I was in too much pain and he didn't care enough.
I asked him to leave the water in the tub. I put a handful of rushes and a handful of peeled willow in the water as well as my book rack I'm working on.
It's made out of bulrushes.
I didn't let him drive as it had rained last evening and night and was now frozen outside.
So I drove, explaining to him the pitfalls of the shiny spots and dark areas on the road. He had his headphones on, so I don't know if he heard me or not.
I just can't chance him wrecking my car. It would mean my freedom! eeek.
