weaving on the Leclerc loom blanket
Let's see, what did I do today? I've been watching episodes of House and then of Bones on www.globaltv.ca. I've also been weaving on my green and yellow blanket.
I ran out of yellow now as well as the green. I filled up the shuttle with green again and have now used all of that up, too. I mean, the bobbin is empty, but the shuttle is full. That is probably not the last of my green, though.
I'm quite disappointed in my choice of yarns for the warp. Some of them were quite thin. I want to replace them with thicker threads. For now I've just pulled them tight and tied them to give myself the tension I need.
I have been trying to make diamonds, but I am quite befuddled as to how I did it before. It's certainly not working the way I wanted it to work. I'll have to try more experimenting.
The blanket is about a meter square now.
