Daniel's apartment
We took Daniel to his apartment, up on the 27th floor, overlooking the Ottawa River. We met his 4 roommates.
I'm glad I had two bars of soap for their bathrooms.
After he showed me in his fridge, I want to stock him up with groceries and toiletries. I realized that putting himself through university was leaving him with very little grocery money. Mom needs to come to the rescue!
I gave him the breadmaker I got from the reuse center as well as the crock pot I got there and told him how to use it. He was quite thrilled to think he could put in a piece of chicken, a potato, a carrot and an onion, turn it on and in the evening he'd have dinner.
He was also happy to have his clarinet back again. It just pulled at my heart strings to see his bed and desk with his same comforter as always.
