I worked on making a pottery teapot
In the tipi, I put some more clay out to dry on the plaster rounds.
I felt good about it all and went into the sunroom to see about doing some more.
My wheel was on, turning the other morning. It won't turn off all the way with the foot pedal anymore. I'm not sure what is amiss. I'll have to ask Joanne.
I made several things. I made the base of a teapot, four spouts, a lid, a bowl, a plate for under the teapot and a fluted edged container. I didn't make a handle cos Joanne always pulls handles when she's trimming the pots.
I found that to make a bowl, it's best to just throw it, bring it up a couple of times and then be done with it. Otherwise, overworking it just makes it break.
I made the spouts off the hump. I have to go have a look at how to make a teapot online.
