beeswax for candles, mailed soap for Oreo, no cedar poles

I went to the candle shop and bought two pounds of beeswax that's been strained through kleenex. It sure was expensive. I want to use Aunt Mildred's candle form to make them! I guess I should start very slowly and make sure the wicks I made will hold the wax first! Will burn properly, etc.

Afterwards, I went to the post office and found out that for 500gm of soap, the package cost $11.50 or so to send it to Kansas. But to send 300gm more, it still cost $11.50. So I sent Oreo her four green cactus and a pack of slices of soap ends.

I had never realized that if I connected the two packages together, they could go for one price. I like going into the village to the post office there. The one here locally never gives me the same price.

On the way home I stopped to see about cedar posts. The folks locally only make up to 12' posts. I need them almost twice that for the tempo I'm going to build for the cars in winter. Maybe I'll have to go into the woods and get them from in there, or maybe from Frank.
