I called Mom but the phone cut off on me. I was trying to relate the difficulty of the two stations’ location.
We rode through Harlem, which is quite gungy looking. Then we went through Bronxville. I got to see where Daddy had grown up. There were lots of trees there alongside the train tracks. The apartments were red brick and filled with windows.
Vines cover the trees at White plains alongside the tracks. It is looking more northerly now. No more pines, but lots of maples.
I’m tired. I have a headache.
I phoned Mom and Mary and told them I went through Bronxville. Mary says you can take a taxi from Amtrak to metro north station. Oh well.
