I stopped at Sue's. She wasn't home yet so I waited. We went for a walk to the beaver dam under the bridge. She dropped stones on the water beside the dam to simulate frogs jumping in the water. She had seen black snakes poke out of the holes a bit when she'd done that before. This time it didn't work.
We talked for a long time about honesty.
We walked back to the house.
"Now I remember why I love you so much!" she said after we'd been fascinated about the snakes and then the turtle nests for awhile. Not many people share such interest in stuff like that.
