What have I done today that made the world a better place, that was carrying out my purpose on the earth?
Motherhood:
Well, today I made blueberry pancakes for the four boys for breakfast. Eventhough only two of them had any, I still did it. I also made some bread for them and served them watermelon.
I got my boys to work at moving the fridge outside to the new spot. In doing so I was helping to instill a work ethic in them.
I cleaned in the tepee. I raked and tried to burn the leaves and paper garbage. That was useful, cleaning up stuff. I did several loads of laundry and put some of it away. That was homemaker stuff, one of my duties in the family and on the earth.
I rescued the mice family from my moving of them. I hope they haven't relocated to all the fur in the fire pile, though. That was a thoughtful thing to do.
I booked the tickets from Cynthia to Tisch. That was a good thing to do, paying the tax money, saving my sister from having to go to the airport to do all of that, spending the time on the phone talking with them.
I prepared the soapmaking stuff for tomorrows demonstration so that people can learn how to make their own soap if they need to. It's good to pass on these ancient skills.
I read and answered all my Nancy today mail. That makes people feel like their thoughts and opinions are valid, that they aren't just speaking into the air. Validating their communications. Of course, I love doing that because it makes me feel so good that they like my life.
I phoned Donna and had a wonderful talk with her. She spoke of Jesus Christ and her mission to spread his gospel throughout the world wherever she is. What a great example she is.
So yes, I have.
I invited Diane over for a sleepover. That was thoughtful. I also want to hang around with her.
