a raccoon was at the window
I heard a banging on the window and went down to check on it. It was a raccoon. A nursing mom. She was sticking her feet into the feeder, pushing the interior wire lining up and out of the way and removing the peanutbutter oatmeal seed mix.
She wasn't easily deterred! I was amazed at her agility, as I usually am with raccoons. I had the house in the dark except for the porch light which iluminated her just wohderfully!
I made a couple of videos of her.
The birds are singing. The blackflies are out in force again, but not yet this morning when it's still so cool.
I've set videos to upload. the success yesterday was spotty, so I guess some of these are not uploading easily. I'm working on the mer bleue videos at the moment.
