walk to the waterfall

I went to the waterfall and found the porcupine tree on the way! It’s fallen over! I have no idea how many years its been over, but it was a surprise to me. It was interesting to see where he lived, anyway and how he got up in there.
I see that the trilliums are budding out now, as are the small bushes and the Varigated Japanese willow beside the house.
I have a cold starting which is closing my eyes and making my throat hurt a lot. I’m using Maalox. I use about a teaspoon of it and gargle with it for awhile until it numbs the back of my throat. It works well as a cough syrup! I didn’t realize!
Willem’s leaving for district conference now. I’m glad I’m staying home, though.
Ben called. They are buying masks for the ‘pandemic’. I’m ready to meet my maker, so I’m not too concerned. However, it’s just an epidemic down there at the moment.
I guess I should stay home and not catch anything if it comes northward. I’ve got my million year supply of food, so we’re set anyway!
