Teaching 16 yo Daniel to drive on winter roads

Daniel had to go to his Pit Band concert. So we’re driving over there now. The roads are dry and bare with some ice on the edges. Daniel is driving for the first time in winter road conditions. The roads are with us, however.
I’m pointing out things as we drive, how others could be unable to stop or be idiots who will careen into you and hit you head on.
It’s nice to drive with Daniel. I like his sense of humor. He wants to be an airline pilot, probably in a fighter jet in the military. Yeah, right!
