We're at Katie's
I preteneded to put Buzz Lightyear to bed beside Lucas on the couch as he drank his bottle, preparing to go to sleep.
He was explaining stuff about the monsters at Tisch's house. I preteneded they were hiding in the bathroom from all the noise.
Lucas said they had a space ship. I said they wished the window was open so they could get out.
We had a lovely lunch of mean slices with a croissant. It was wonderful...tomatoes with cucumbers, too.
Willem is showing Katie their genealogy on her computer now. I've turned the TV to a home repair show. It's fascinating. They have great ideas on there. For that, I wish I had tv. But I'd never take the time to watch it.
Katie is such a lovely person. She is such a good mother. Willem was so pleased to be coming to see her. Lucas is really a nice boy.
He gets quite hyper when people come over, Katie says. He was quite a little bundle of activity! I love being around him.
He's asleep now in his room.
When we got here I heard him greet 'Grampa!' It was so sweet!
I put my pink shawl on the couch beside me and told willem not to touch it because it was for Lucas to sit on. He loves that. He came over and sat there for a minute, too.
