new hope
Today I had an appointment to talk about getting a drop foot brace for my right foot. The guy checking me said I already had some stiffness and spasticity of the acheilles tendon, calf muscles that have tightened and shortened due to me not being able to move my foot upward for so long. He suggested physical therapy. I also am greatly interested in having a right hand brace like I had 15 years ago after my wreck. My right hand is now mostly utterly useless... I type now, with difficulty with only ONE HAND, left hand... difficulty because left hand is now slowly becoming affected. Only time will tell if I lose my left hand as well. Then I guess I'll have no choice but to give up typing and the internet to a large extent.
I have ZERO local friends for moral support, only friends I have live 100s or 1000s of miles away. It's truly sad that people so far away from me care for me more than my own self absorbed family. I would write more on that but my one good hand grows tired.
