So Basically MY VACATION HAS BEEN CRAZY
Basically....this is what happened...
I should have paid attention when they sent me that wonderful confirmation e-mail from continental. Amanda and I finished cleaning up our rooms, checking out, etc. and went to the airport with danny's amazing driving skills. I got to the continental counter, swiped my credit card, and....no reservation!!!! MY RESERVATION WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE DAY BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thus in order to fly home, I had to pay an additional $240 (Amanda helped me pay because I can't pay with my mom's credit card unless it is physically there; I get to pay mandy back now :P). Good thing came out of this: I flew home first class :) That's right ladies and gentlemen, as many beverages as I wanted, grapes, cheese, lunch meats, fancy schmancy crackers, chocolate and chardonnay. and a comfy leather chair (and leg room). All for the total cost of $600+ (well, my original ticket cost + the additional 240). My parents were super happy. Yes. So happy. Because they always warn me to make sure everything is right in advance and I obviously did that.
Ok, so the next day, Laura and I hung out. We went to the mall, bought some stuff, went home, ate tons of stuff, baked a cake, went to tbe 88's concert to say good bye to patrick thomas who left today for the air force. brian gillis went with us too. we kinda left the concert before it started but laura, gillis and i went to a quaint little chinese restaurant and had some food and drinks. and then we went to laura's and "watched a movie." well i watched sky high. they watched a movie that = chocolates + champagne + chocolate cake w/strawberries + romance. OH CUTENESSSSSS. Gillis is still far behind when it comes to wooing my best friend's heart. But he's trying. OMG, and he also got both Laura and me roses :P a single red rose for laura and a single pink rose (FRIENDSHIP!) for me. OMG, GILLIS and I are more than just facebook friends. Oh and he kissed my hand. What a gentlemen. Haha. At least, that's what I'm suppose to think right? ;)
Oh yeah. despite the mommy and daddy trouble (aka getting mad at me for the plane ticket thinggy), they didn't really yell at me or get mad at me that much. instead, my mama got me a new louis vuitton bag which i get to use at home, not bring to school (and i am ok with that because i'm one spoiled brat). it's part of the monogram collection but with crocodile/ostrich trim. it's super cute. my mommy also gave me a couple gift cards :D
AND WE WENT SHOPPING!!! I got a couple new cashmere sweaters from ralph lauren! and three new pairs of jeans and like 4 or 5 other pairs of pants (so i can bring them to viet nam and later, to school). and i got a couple shirts from american eagle. i was super close to getting some new shoes from BORN but they didn't have the shoes that my mom approved of, in my size. grrrrrr. oh well. altogether, (well the sweaters alone) my mommy spent more money on me than the amount of money they gave my lil bro. so hey, i ain't complaining. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
