Presentation Karaoke
I am considering going to a local event (which recurs): Presentation Karaoke. "Give a presentation that you've never seen to an audience of hecklers."
This actually sounds like something I would enjoy doing, but I don't know about the audience. It's at the most uber-hip place in Portland, the Someday Lounge, and it may be a fairly closed circle of uber-hip people. Would they go gentle on an unknown beginner (of the fat female fifty-something flavor?)
Maybe I'll go if I can get someone to go with me. I wish I'd been able to attend presocamp with presumably much of the same crowd.
Ummmm... is this post one of those calls for help, as in "please talk me out of this"?
