Songs and memories
Today was one of those days when you hear a song and suddenly you're back in time about 2 or 3 years ago, thinking about that person that means a lot to you still, but it helps that you don't see him often. And you think about him because you had a couple of dreams about him last week and suddenly he's in front of you for real, after you wondered why you had those dreams in the first place. Yes, it could be the Holidays, because coincidentally it was the time you just knew you both had a chance and felt the same way and that song was just part of the soundtrack of that period of your life with that person.
After those years you hear that song and even the sensations, the feelings both of happiness and sorrow come back full force and you don't know if you want them to leave you or you want to hold on to them for as long as you can, trying to capture that feeling for a tiny second.
But he has moved on, and so have you, or you think so. But when you see him near you're afraid and don't even want to look at him.
