(no subject)
The couch, the guest bed, the chair, desk, entertainment center, a whole hella lotta dishes, all my kitchen stuff, a dresser all moved in...
Still have to buy my bed... I just can't tolerate a twin... and if it was the same as the dorm beds I could probably sleep on it, but it is even more uncomfortable then the dorm mattresses even with the Egg carton foam and a fluffy faux pillow top thingy.
So I have to put together the majority of my furniture.... I have all these boards all over the house...which is really my desh.. and hutch, and entertainment center. I need a decorator seriously! I'm n ot sure how to configure my room other than how the Desk has to be placed in the room to have access to the phone line if I get dial up, and even then it has to be in that room to get the cable internet.
My outlets in the new part aren't working... so thats a problem.
I left a dresser the tall one... the green chair, Aunt Marie's chair, and the gray love seat couch for miss Molly's house... I still need a table, and Sir Speedifur needa a big cage to be trained to be a good kitty.
Bubbie Loves the doggie door... We put him out in the patio this weekend... cause he was believed to be a bad puppy, though we didn't find any peed on spots in the house....he had that I've been bad look on his face.
We opend the doggie door to dust it adn he went right on through it... that was pretty neato. I"m hopeing Speedifur will eventually use it to access his littler box on the back screened in patio. That way its pretty much sealed off from the rest of the house.
I'm hosting an even once I get all settled adn I"m not working CRAZY OT hours..
The next 2 weeks have me working Sunday nights 8 hours, and 11 hours every day the rest of the week. with an additional saturday night adn sunday night week 2 of training for the new software.
That is 63 hours for week 1 and 71 for week 2. Not counting any additional time we may be required to stay with software quirks and computer fatalities and glitches. I"m really hopeing I won't have to carry the Ad building team with my expert knowledge of In-design.. lots of them have no freaking clue...
so I won't be around... If I got my cash from thos converted to pennies.. I think I might swim around in them like Scrooge McDuck.
Anyhoos.. good luck with jobs, classes, and whatnot.. whatever you're getting into... I miss the fun times on the weekends for sure.... Working Friday nights SUCKS!
