You expect a lot living in Georgia. Tornados. Thunderstorms. Rednecks. The occaisonal hurricane blown up from the coast.

But this morning was the first time I can ever say that I had the fun of an earthquake.

I was sound asleep when I felt the bed moving. Drew wasn't climbing into bed with me. The cat was on top of me, crying. Then I heard a loud trainlike noise, and I thought a tornado was coming. I ran to get Drew, and I felt like the floor was moving underneath me. And then it stopped, and when I looked out the window it didn't look tornado-y, plus the sirens weren't going off.

I figured someone (me) must have taken a little to much allergy medicine and went back to sleep.

This morning when I got in my car and heard on the radio we had an earthquake? I was all, I wasn't hallucaniting! Yay!
