An exhortation to anyone who hasn't yet: You must see "The Incredibles!" Pixar just keeps getting better and better. This one is was directed by Brad Bird, who directed the amazing and underrated "Iron Giant," and it rocks!
I'm happy that the tension of Election Week has been resolved in several directions, at least. There's little that can't be worked out by people who understand the concept of compromise, and who value friendship over ideology. I fear one friendship may not survive completely, however; as my all my attempts to put out the flames have been met by additional gasoline by the other party. Question: how do you end an argument when the other person responds to your attempts at peaceful resolution with more arguing, but who would view refusal to respond to them as capitulation?
