Thank you thank you thank you! :)
How is that you could take a trope (age regression) that usually makes me cringe and make me laugh and enjoy it so immensely?
It's okay, I can make you cringe later when I eventually write the follow-up to Golden Years. *sigh*
You're so very strong at the showing instead of telling character development and I am jealous/delighted by it.
:D Thank you kindly. It's a skill I've been trying to build, and I am thrilled you like the results!
Also, while I'm throwing out compliments, have I mentioned your Martha? Usually Martha comes off as so dull to me in stories. It's nice having a Martha that just isn't there to contact the Doctor or be a temporary medic for the team, but actually has a voice and personality of her own.
Hee, thanks. I know I am occasionally guilty of Martha-as-plot-device, but she was my favourite Ten-era companion, and I love every chance I have of putting her into a story to see what she'll do.
Also, Alice silently thinking of Ianto as Jack's current toy had me cackling for some reason.
I always love outsider POV, but I think Alice is my favourite outsider POV for Jack and Ianto, because she does know Jack, and she is familiar with his cat-like attention span wrt lovers, and she assumes Ianto is another quick fling. It's fun (for me) to watch them interact, knowing where she's coming from.
Glad you liked this one. :D
