This is gorgeous...and the last line...perfection. You've painted a beautifully RICH Dickensian England in entirely Jenny's voices rather than Dickens's and I love it.

This is fantastic backstory! I love the notion that Jenny was actually on the work crew that uncovered Vastra. I am a big fan of the trope of women crossdressing as guys. You have an excellent eye for putting in just the right amount of detail.
