(no subject)
On April 28th of last year, I had a hysterectomy. Now my oldest daughter is having the very same thing done tomorrow. Both are for the same reason, a small cancerous pylop that surgery has corrected (for me) and will for Diane as well. No treatments, thank God it was caught early.
I have been getting not so good news left and right it seems lately; a brother-in-law who is seriously ill and my best friend who slipped and fell in her apartment and broke her hip!! Surgery today or tomorrow for her so I will be slipping back and forth between Diane and her. Diane will be staying with me for about a week after she gets out of hospital, which will be 4-5 days. Unfortunately this interfers with her yearly trip to see Graham, her fiance in London, Eng., but happily he is coming over instead. Needless to say, she is very happy about this.
We;ve had a nice summer - short but nice. A heat wave that nearly did me in. Each year the heat bothers me more and more even WITH a portable air conditioner.
My middle grandson left to get his own apartment and a few months ago my granddaughter left when she and her fiance bought a house. I miss them both as they have been here between 4 and 7 years. But it was a god-send to me after my husband passed away. Now I have the third grandson, tidying up his bills and returning to school. He'll be here for a couple of years and then I will sell the house and move!!! The maintenance (cost wise) is beginning to be a problem. Everything goes up. Nothing ever gets cheaper....... I can only do so much myself. I leave the repairs to those who are able to help. Luckily,my family have been great on that score!!!
I don't post on this very often. Only when huge things seem to happen. So hopefully, nothing will need posting for at least anyother year!!!!
