It saddens me not to see the memorials and remembrances anymore.
Mind you, I'm not judging. Everyone moves on in one way or another. I don't really use LJ anymore, either. Even though your daughter and I lived in the same town, LJ was our initial contact and our ongoing communication form in the short time we knew each other.
Anyway, I've said it before. Your daughter left an impression and I still think about her these years later.

I am deeply saddened to hear your latest news. Correspondence was practically nil, but I am still hit hard for some reason. I guess these electronic links to a person I once knew are so tenuous, so easily lost. I can't explain it, and sometimes I feel ridiculous for how much I am affected.
As you have noted, you and I only met once. We've exchanged only a few dozen words. There is very little reason for you to do so, but if you would care to correspond again, I would welcome it. I understand if you choose to decline.
