I'm pretty sure Emma is teething. I really dreaded this because I know how unhappy babies get when their teeth come in, and she's been so great. The past week or so she has been drooling a lot. Like in need of a constant bib. And she has been chewing on her hands more, mostly her thumb. Yesterday I noticed she was sucking in her bottom lip and kind of biting on it. She kept doing it today then started screaming like in pain. I wasn't sure what was the problem and thought it was gas so we tried Mylicon, and then Tylenol. I had some teethers in the fridge just in case, so I gave her one and she stopped crying immediately. I can pretty much anticipate a fussy baby the next couple weeks. I need to get some Baby Orajel ASAP.

I have one more week of work left and then I'll be a stay-at-home mom. I have so many things I want to do. I think I'm going to start sewing. I have some ideas and a sewing machine I've never used. I just haven't had time. I'm also going to get off my ass and work on the baby book LOL. Ever since I went back to work, I've slacked on the things that really matter. I want to focus more on being a Mom and taking care of things at home. I don't want to have a half filled out baby book because I worked too much to do it. In 15 years when Emma is looking at it, it's not going to matter if I had a hard day at work, it's going to matter that I didn't have time to do something as important as write down when she had her first step, etc.

I'm up pretty late, but am tired, so I think I'm going to go to bed. I'm waiting for Emma to wake up and get her midnight feeding, so I can sleep a good stretch.
