1. Homemade haircuts get more compliments at the beautyshop than beautyshop haircuts, or so it seems. I took eric in for a haircut AFTER giving myself one, and I got fawned over bunches. aww, shucks.
2. Did I say I don't like getting drunk? True, but tipsy is fun. work party at Opus 39 downtown was great, except for the mystery butt grope and eric being cranky pants
3. cooking pork butts is fun. stuff with garlic, rosemary, thyme, and savory; dust with allspice, coriander, and cloves; glaze with orange marmalade; cook for 30 minutes per pound and turn every half hour to reglaze/dust YUM
4. trimming hedges into topiaries all day is meditative ohmmmmm...
