Happy belated Night of the Living Jesus
I love the look on people's faces the first time I tell them my easter plans... like they're disappointed they didn't think of it first. Sadly I can't take credit either, but am glad to carry on the tradition forever and ever. Saturday night we drove to my mom's house and forced her to watch Shawn of the Dead while eating a creepy easter cross made from chocolate (to fend off the zombie Jesus... he doesn't like reminders of that whole episode). mom was glad we didn't bring anything scary to watch, she'd have had nightmares, but she seemed to like SOTD ok.
and now for some 5 things.
1. zombie jesus did not get my brain.
2. it rained today so I didn't have to water the garden.
3. I still have some chocolate cross left...
4. my fridge is jam packed full with easter leftovers
5. there's a ripe tomato on the vine waiting to be eaten
