Thanksgiving and Classes

Well, it doesn't feel like Thanksgiving. That may be because it's not. I don't mean that it's the day before instead of the day of, but rather that it doesn't exist here. Most people don't know of its existence. Maybe that's why I haven't done a single thing in preparation, even though I'm expected to handle all hors d'ouvres and the broccoli casserole if I can manage it. So...I guess I'd better start to think of it as being Thanksgiving and work on that casserole tonight. Too bad I have to do homework for tomorrow and have to study for the major test I have next week. I can do the latter over the weekend, I guess.

On the other hand, I have 7 days of class left. Yeah, kind of weird, but true. And one of the 7 is Thanksgiving. Another is a big presentation in my Quijote class to the rest of the school (or the 5-10 of them that come, maybe). Another is a huge test in archeology, trying to make up for only having had one other test (meaning that this test is 30 or 40% of the whole grade, too. And the last day will consist entirely of a final for the same class.

I guess I have to get moving on some of these final projects, huh.

I'm ready.
