march in parts, #2

More March. Diana drinks some vodka.

Friday 16th heading into Saturday 17th of March. Uh, night out? For those of you who got rather horrible messages… this was the night. I’m very sorry.

Kama and I had been hanging out a fair bit at this point - we’d done something together every other day of the week. So, when the plan was to get together with her friends and drink a little, I agreed. Of course. First batch of photos is from my camera, and the second batch is from Oskar’s.

We started the night in a courtyard in the city somewhere, at a nice little niche of a pub with some awesome light fixtures. I met Dziadek (“Grandpa”, real name Robert), Artur, and Ola, is girlfriend. I already knew Marzena. Although now I’m trying to figure out whether her name was Marysia. Oh, I’m a bad person.

So, okay, there you see the pub, and the table back at Dziadek’s house. We caught the metro, a few buses and a tram, stopped in a supermarket for food, and finally made it to his place by about 9. The drink? Wściekły Pies, which translates to “crazy dog”. Vodka, Tabasco and something else. In any case, it was good and easy to drink. Which might actually make it bad, but… anyway.

Introductions: Artur, blurry Ola; Oskar, blurry Dziadek.

Marzena, who arrived after she finished work; and blurry Kama wearing my sunglasses (which made the rounds of, oh, everyone).

Kama.

Artur, me, Dziadek, 1am.

Ola, Artur, me.

Aww, group photo. Ola, Artur, Kama, Marzena, Dziadek, me, Oskar.

Dziadek takes over the glasses; Marzena and Kama watching po organising music. It is now only 2am.

And now we skip forward a couple of hours to 4:30am, at which point we head off to try and catch the night bus. Oskar and Kama; and the photo my camera automatically took when it fell to the ground. Ah, vodka.

I don’t look too bad, do I? In the sense that it's 4am and I reached my limit three hours earlier?

Obligatory fooling around.

The bus, finally. The girls got off the bus a little after five, while I had a longer way to go. Oskar “walked me home” by taking the metro and making sure I got to my apartment building. Ha. 5:40, ladies and gentlemen. You have no idea how good it was to sleep.

Now, Oskar’s batch (the ones I got in email, anyway. I'm sure there were more.).

So, that was… that.
