Well, I can safely say that I have finally found my desk and my favorite pen.
My office has been in an uproar due to my officers back home not being able to keep up with the workload. And I had high hopes for them...oh well. So I have been pulling double duty as it were and doing my work for home and mordhaus. I apologize if I was short with anyone. The captain has been hiding from me, but I really do need to find him as I need him to sign off on the load of paperwork and send it back immediately or there will be no budget for sake rations, and you won't let that happen, now will you captain.
Other then that I have been enjoying Mr. Dornez's company. We've read some of the same books and I eagerly await to times when we are both free to sit and talk about them. It's odd to meet someone who reads as much as I do as most people back home are either more concerned with fighting or drinking or a combination of the two. No one really appreciates the scholarly arts anymore. I notice there is much of the same mentality here.
I notice my room is a bit sparse, though I don't want Ms. Mine coming in here like she did that one time and putting pink drapes in my room but I do feel I should spend my money on at least making this place feel a bit more like home...as it seems it will be home for a while longer.
I have also been meaning to visit Dr.Orpheus and borrow a book that I started reading while I was there and did not get a chance to finish, and as copies of it are...well nonexistent I will promise to take extra care when reading.
