Yuusha's Time

After seeing Arakawa Under the Bridge, where Ogurek (Oguri Shun's nickname in Polish fandom) was Kappa and Sierota (Shirota Yu) was Sister, I decided to watch another absurd Japanese drama, because this is another best way to relax after a hard week. My choice fell on a series of Yuusha Yoshihiko, which I watched with a friend and we had a good laugh xD

Yuusha Yoshihiko to Maou no Shiro; Yuusha Yoshihiko to Akuryo no Kagi

We start with a scene like from Lancelot -  they looking for a young man, who takes out the sword inherent in stone and going on a mission of obtaining some plants to cure the plague in the village. The choice fell on Yoshihiko, who sets off on his journey. Along the way, he gaining companions and new mission to defeat the evil Maou. The second season is quite similar - they have to find a key to seal the monsters. So, time to start the journey!xD

Characters - everyone is unique in their own way. From left:
Merebu (Muro Tsuyoshi) - mag of lower level, in each episode he learns a useless spell (because how desire for something sweet or pig nose can help in the fight?), but still Yoshihiko loves them.
Yoshihiko (Yamada Takayuki) - he was selected to be Yuusha, has a good heart and is not blessed with much intellignece, because how can you ask the enemy "Mr. Kappa. How to use the weapon against Kappa?" - yeah, this is one of the reasons why I love him xD
Murasaki (Kinami Haruka) - of course in the group must be a girl, unexpectedly sometimes she knows better spells than Merebu.
Danjo (Takuma Shin) - sorry, my mind is blank and I don't know what to write about him ;o
Hotoke (Sato Jiro) - simply saying - stupid Buddha, he should help our top four, but often his information is not very useful. And it's only me or for you he also looks like a child from Teletubbies?xD
Hisa (Okamoto Azusa) - Yoshihiko's sister, and the only character that I didn't like.

Of course, we can't forget about monsters, because we have here a really various creatures. From the one-eyed Cyclops, stones, to the nice animals, which turn out to be a bloodthristy panda/squirrel/chihuahua/hamster.

And we also have interesting episodic roles - most of them are robbers, who whant the food. For me Ogurek with his power of cloning and Ayano Go as a man-horse was brilliant!xD
There a pictures a few of them:

(Aoki Munetaka, Oguri Shun, Ayano Go, Okada Yoshinori, Daito Shunsuke, Hosoda Yoshihiko, Katsuji Ryo, Koyanagi Yu, Sawamura Ikki, Furuta Arata)

So, put on 3D glasses and watch this hilarious series!xD
