Random Shards: So what & Riven Ramble
So what if you're Filipino?
I endure.
Those two lines aren't exactly related to each other but they came along in the same vein of thought. There is something tickling at the back of my mind that involves these lines. I can't make anything of it yet. I know there's supposed to be this fantastical element though. Something to do with blood. Not the gore type, mind you. The inherited type.
I was previously stuck on the 3rd part of Chapter 1 for Riven for the LONGEST time but the solution hit me quite suddenly. In fact, I was thinking about another story entirely when it flashed in my mind. Now I can't imagine how I couldn't have known how the scene was to go before. Everything was already there.
The third part really isn't a big deal. That was my problem. Nothing very important was happening in it - both character-wise and story-wise. Other than that, it was boring. T_T I kind of know how to spice it up a little, but I don't know how to write action sequences. Maybe I can shortcut it? ^_~ Oh well, we'll see. Now all I have to do is write it.
