Ramble: Getting Together

I haven't been writing the things I should be writing. Riven, for one, that Koenma/Botan epic I'm supposed to finish this summer. Then there are the many little fragments of inspiration I still can't make whole. I just don't know how to make the words come like they're supposed to. I'd force it, but when I force it, the style just comes out wrong.

Hmm..I'm having the same problem too...^^; Hmm...just keep writing, I guess, since you can always revise them another time. That's what I do, at least...but don't force writing, though, since the words will just come, and will just fit together, when they want to. I'm beginning to think stories have a life of their own... *sigh*

I do hope you get to write Riven soon, though. ^__^ Heehee...

Yes, I think it's an interesting concept, too. Although I'm afraid I can't really help...^^; I've never been to the States in my entire life, and my only source of knowledge about American culture is books, movies and TV shows...^^; Which are probably just full of stereotypes, and can never really give us an accurate portrayal of what life really is like in the US. Ahehe. Maybe Melpomene and Riisha can help. ^_^

I'd love to read your stories, though. ^_^

That's true. Write and write to just get it out there, then go back and revise. At least then it'll be partially done. Oh, if only it didn't take me hours to write one page. *slowest writer ever*

Riven, yes, trying to write it now. I wonder if I could survive doing a page a day? Arrrrgh it's difficult, especially with how long it's supposed to be. 0_0

Thanks for the encouragement! I seem to be bouncing back to my old loves right now - writing and webmastering. ^-^
