Jeez and I thought I was going to have it really dull here in this small hicktown in Florida....
Probably would have if I had just stayed here with nothing to do.
In Decemeber I went to Ky. Quickly.... Chris called and told me ok mom we are having a baby today.
No pressure lol it just takes at least 10 hours to get there and I still had to pack.
She wasn't due for another couple weeks. Anyways I packed and headed to Kentucky....Kindra had to have an emergency C-section
So she had Ryan about 3 or 4 hours before I arrived.
I get to the hospital exactly 9 hours after I left Florida---I kinda flew. Thank goodness I wasn't stopped. Anyways I got to meet my grandson.
He is beautiful. And then I had to set out to find my son he had left the hospital. It has been awhile since I was there so I tried to do it all on memory which is pretty good but I still ended up having to call someone for directions. Then I found him. We slept a couple hours---I had drove all night. When we went back to the hospital I was concerned about her attitude with Ryan. My other experience was with Sara and Angela--- and Sara was wonderful. And my Angel well she was and is just that my Angel. But anyways, Kindra I know had surgery and this was different but it still took longer than I had expected or hoped for her to finally act happy she was a mom. She said she wanted to breastfeed...anyone who has done this knows how hard it is to get started and keep it up....I felt like I was the one pushing so I backed off and just asked Do you really want to do this cause if you do I will help in everyway I know how...she did it still took me forever to get her comfortable with getting him latched on.. poor baby but he finally did with help from Nana. And it seemed like after that she was not going to get the hang of it and be able to do it all by herself. I literally had to put him and position him etc.... Maybe I need to be a Lactation consultant....hummm idea for future reference.
Anyways took a few more days she finally got he hang of it and the soreness was wearing off. She whines about everything though....Sara you spoiled me you took it like a woman. Anyways....It was Christmas time by now...I had already told everyone I wasn't doing it this year---too hard after mom passing. The only shopping I did was for my Angel and my Princess in Wa. I ended up at my friends house and Christmas morning early her daughter came to us and told us she was cramping and bleeding...she wasn't due until MARCH. So I checked her out timed everything-called the hospital and took her in. They had to give her an ER C-Section he was breech and she was dialated 7-8 already. So Logan Christopher was born Christmas morning. He was 13 weeks early. He is doing great now after a long stay in the NICU he is even hme now he got to come home at the end of Feb. Which is a month before they thought because he is doing so great. Dustin was able to come in on leave after he graduated from the Marine Corp training. He looks so good and different in a way..
He left the first week of Jan. and I left not too long afterwards. I tried to get somethings done at home in Florida but the Josh says he will be home in Feb. So I had to get ready for him. He got 18 days. Was wonderful. We took a trip to Kentucky so he could see everyone. There was a bad ice storm so we were pretty grounded while there. But we managed somehow to make it through all that and then come back to Florida. Before he was suppose to leave I got a call from Dustin. He had gone to sick bay and they found he has what they call---Wolfe Parkison White Syndrome....I immediately looked this up and what they said scared me to death. We are just lucky they found this early. So I had to put Josh on a plane back to Iraq and leave immediately for North Carolina where Dustin is stationed. Takes 12 hours to get there. And that is pushing it. Anyways met with the cardiologist....I like him.....He wants to do testing over the next few weeks. And told me it was safe for me to come home during this time. So now I am home awaiting word from all the tests. And he is getting married in June so I am talking with Jessica---my furture daughter--- and I plan on going to help out with the wedding the first part of June. Whew I am tired I need a break... lol.... I just wonder what is going to come up next? Life is not dull. I have a friend who is coming in a couple weeks for a vacation...I get to have fun too. We shall see what is going to happen.
