Dear Journal,
It's taken me a few weeks but I think I've finally settled into Luceti. I've got my old clothes back- good thing my armour is backless- and found my old bow in one of the shops. Well, there are a lot of reasons. A bow is a very simple yet powerful weapon against any kind of target. It requires a lot of discipline and focus to use correctly, as well as a great deal of upper body strength. So it's great for building muscle and staying in shape. The ammo is cheap to manufacture and the resources can be gathered from any forest. And a well placed arrow is as accurate as it is deadly. There's also tradition: bows have been used by hunters for centuries, and for good reason.
